Foundation Stampede to Conquer Cancer at Paramount Pictures Studios: July 16,
2005
The
Marshals were requested to perform at this event, and provided the major meet
and greet entertainment at the Concern Foundation's 31st Annual Block Party,
where over $1.5
Million was raised
from the
3,000 guests attending. The Marshals roved the back lot set at Paramount, and
guests encountered the Earps, Doc Holliday, Curly Bill, the Clantons, the
McLaurys, the Cowboy gang, a snake oil salesman, a circuit preacher,
Suffragettes, saloon girls, and carousing cowboys.
The Infamous Tombstone Gunfight was recreated by Wyatt Emp, Nicholas Earp, Drago,
Bill Fergus, Buck, Key-Lock, Turkey Creek, and Servacio....Mattie Breeze headed
up the Suffragettes performed by Melissa Meadowlark, Tess Dandridge, Kat Hills,
Mrs. Hills, Sassy Cassy, and Scarlet Blood.....Curly Bill dealt faro; Rev. Creek
and Tillie preached on the street corner; Chino Hills hawked the latest snake
oil cure; while Peggy Sue, Josie, and Rose Hills displayed their wares outside
the saloon....Dave Rudabaugh, Pancho Rivas, Little Buck, Quartermoon John, Clay
Patterson, San Dimas Kid, and Diamond Valley Kid strode down the streets of
Tombstone...Nola Forest and Greywolf dressed out and roamed the event as
official Marshal photographers.
